By accessing or using the iSommelier platform ("Service"), operated by iSommelier Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

iSommelier is a global wine industry directory that connects wine lovers with restaurants, wineries, and wine producers. We provide business listings, wine program information, ratings, and discovery tools.

3. User Accounts

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

4. Business Listings

Business profiles may be created from publicly available information. Business owners may claim and manage their listings through our verification process. By claiming a listing, you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of that business.

We reserve the right to remove or modify any listing that violates these Terms, contains inaccurate information, or does not relate to the wine or hospitality industry.

5. Wine and Alcohol Requirement

iSommelier is a wine industry directory. Only businesses that serve, sell, or produce wine or alcoholic beverages are eligible for listing. Businesses without a liquor license or wine program may be removed from the directory.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Claim a business you are not authorized to represent
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
• Violate the intellectual property rights of others

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by iSommelier Pty Ltd and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. User-submitted content remains the property of the submitter, but you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the Service.

8. AI-Generated Content

Some content on iSommelier, including business summaries, pairing suggestions, and flavor profiles, is generated or enhanced by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. Business owners can correct their listings by claiming their profile.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information on the platform is complete or accurate.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, iSommelier Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of California. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue therein.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
