Your general location to help discover nearby restaurants and wine experiences.
Wine List Photos
Photos you upload are processed via OCR to help update restaurant profiles and wine lists.
Chat Conversations with Sammie
Your conversations with our AI sommelier help improve the quality of recommendations over time.
Business Profile Data
For restaurants and producers, business information is used for scoring and visibility calculations.

iScore uses business data to calculate digital presence and visibility scores for restaurants and producers.

Our matching engine analyses restaurant menus alongside our wine database to suggest perfect pairings.
Content Pipeline
With your explicit consent, photos and data may be used to create Sammie-branded content for your business.
What We Do Not Do
Your trust matters to us. Here are our firm commitments:
We never sell personal data to third parties.
We never share individual data with other users without your consent.
We never use your data to train external AI models.
Sammie does not store conversation history beyond your session, unless you opt in.
Your Rights
You have full control over your data at all times:
Data Export
View and download all data we hold about you at any time from your Settings page.
Account Deletion
Delete your account and all associated data at any time. Data is removed within 30 days.
Opt Out of AI Recommendations
Use the platform without Sammie — disable AI recommendations in your Privacy & Data settings.
Opt Out of Content Creation
Your photos and business data will not be used for Sammie-branded content unless you give explicit consent.
Data Retention
Personal data is retained while your account is active and you continue to use our services. Upon account closure or deletion request, all personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained for platform improvement purposes.
